Allow users to request Kudos

This shows the "Request Kudos" button on a Kudos' detail page.
You can enable the Request Kudos feature in your community. With the feature enabled on a Kudos, users can click the request button and fill out a form to request a Kudos! We will go over how it works and how to get the feature enabled down below.

How to enable the "Request Kudos" feature

If you are interested in getting the "Request Kudos" feature enabled, please follow these steps:
  1. 1.
Create an allowlisted Kudos. (feel free to allowlist yourself)
  2. 3.
We will reach out to you once it's ready to go!

How it works

For users

Users can click on a Kudos that has the "Request Kudos" feature enabled and then click the Request Kudos button to launch the form set up for that Kudos. The user then fills in the information and submits the form for community admins to review.
Want to try a form? Click here to try it yourself (then click the Request Kudos button and fill out the form).

After submitting a Kudos Request form, you will be taken to a page to let you know that your request was successfully sent! All that's left to do is wait for community admins to review and approve (or deny) your request.
This is the success page that shows after your request has been submitted.
You can click the View Status button to be taken back to the Kudos detail page to see if you've been approved. If you have been approved, you will have the Kudos added to your account. If your request has been denied, it will say Request Denied. You will no longer be able to request this Kudos again.

For community admins

Community admins can see Requested Kudos under the Requests tab of their community's page.

The Requests tab will show information such as the wallet address of the user who requested, when they submitted their request, and the filled-out form for that Kudos.
Additionally, you can check the box in the upper left (to the left of the Approve button) to select all requests for the specific Kudos being requested. Afterward, simply press the Approve or Deny button to initiate and sign a transaction to approve or deny the Kudos request.
